Knowing what to do in those critical moments can save a life.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What Is Choking?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Choking happens when a piece of food or an object gets stuck in the throat or windpipe, blocking the flow of air to the lungs.
